History of Psychoanalysis Collection

This collection consists of miscellaneous materials pertaining to the history of psychoanalysis in the US and abroad. Papers currently span from 1929-1989, but the archive is likely to expand. Included in the collection is an OSS report by Henry A. Murray, MD on the personality of Adolf Hitler, An outline of neuropsychiatric procedures in the U.S. Navy, Rorschach Scoring Samples from the 1940’s and a grant proposal for autism research from 1978. The collection has one sub-series for materials produced by the Group for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (GAP).
