Stanley Cath

Dr. Cath is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine and BPSI, and has been an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine as well as a Research Associate in Mental Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. He still lectures in Psychiatry at both Harvard and Boston University's Schools of Medicine. Dr. Cath founded the Mystic Valley Mental Health Association, co-founded the Boston Society for Gerontological Psychiatry, and introduced the first elective on geriatric psychiatry at three Boston medical schools. His professional areas of interests include problems of intergenerational conflict, fathers' issues such as single parent competency, issues in divorce and child custody, terrorism, cult membership, and aging issues such as abuse, competency, and testamentary capacity.
