Samuel Kaplan

From 1948 to 1954, Dr. Kaplan was a candidate in Adult and Child Psychoanalysis at BPSI. He became a Training Analyst in Adult Psychoanalysis at BPSI in 1954, and then in Child Psychoanalysis in 1959. Between 1955 and 1959, he was a co-director of the James Jackson Putnam Children's Center in Roxbury, MA. He has also held appointments at Boston Floating Hospital, Boston City Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Kaplan taught at the medical schools at Boston University, Harvard University, and Tufts University. His research has focused on various topics including the study of infant personality development.
